- 1 cup of butter, melted
- 2 cups packed brown sugar (dark or light)
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups of flour
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- Sift the salt, baking powder, and flour.
- Whisk the sugar in the warm butter until melted and cooled
- Add the eggs, whisking together.
- Press into the pan below:
- Mix both together and bake in a sling prepared 9x9" pan at 350 for 45 minutes.
- Once cool, remove and cut.
