I love the parmesan garlic wings but frankly it seemed too expensive and very greasy. So, here's my version. Make it at home- save $$$
- 2 lb chicken wings (bone in)
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil (or you can use avocado oil)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp dry parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp fresh minced parsley
- Cut down your wings, discarding the tips or use for stock
- In a large bowl, toss the wings in the oil with the salt and pepper.
- Lay out on a foil lined baking tray with edges.
- Place in a 400 degree oven and bake for 20 minutes before flipping and baking another 20 minutes, checking the largest end of the wing for a temperature of 265 degrees (I pick the largest drummet to check) if its not there, let it bake a little longer.
- Place in a clean bowl and toss with the parmesan, garlic and parsley with the melted butter
- NOTE: If the milk fat in butter is not good for you, try half of it with warmed olive oil or ghee but it won't have the same flavor
