Back in the day, people loved to have "house parties" where chips and dips were the main attraction. It was cheap, easy to do, and provided variety. This particular dip was so easy but when presented in a shallow, clear bowl, looked amazing! This dish made its way into the 1970s before it was finally set to the sidelines for other, more modern fare.
