Whipping Cream Pound Cake

  •  3 sticks SALTED butter, softened
  •  3 cups of sugar
  •  6 eggs
  •  3 cups sifted SDCF
  •  1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
  •  1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  1.  Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2.  Butter and flour a 10" tube pan or loaf pan.
  3.  Sift flour and lightly spoon 3 cups into a measuring cup.
  4.  Combine sugar and butter and cream.
  5.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6.  Add flour and whipping cream alternately.
  7.  Stir in vanilla.
  8.  Pour into pan.
  9.  Bake for around 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. 
  10. Cool completely.

You could make a more vanilla flavored cake by increasing extract to 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.
