  •  1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  •  2 tsp baking soda
  •  1/2 tsp salt
  •  2 1/4 cups sifted SDCF
  •  1 cup sour cream
  •  1 cup boiling water

  1.  Preheat oven to 350.
  2.  Butter and flour 2 9" layer pans
  3.  Sift flour, then lightly spoon 2 1/4 cups into a measuring cup.
  4.  Cream butter until smooth in a large bowl.
  5.  Add brown sugar and eggs.
  6.  Beat with mixer until light and fluffy.
  7.  Beat in Vanilla extract and chocolate.
  8.  Add baking soda and salt.
  9.  Add flour alternately with sour cream, beating until smooth.
  10.  Pour in boiling water, stirring with a spoon until blended.

BATTER WILL BE VERY THIN!
