Sausage Balls Two Ways

#1: Dry Version

  • 3 cups Bisquick or similar dry mix
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 3 cups grated cheese of choice

  1. Blend everything
  2. Shape into small balls (quarter-sized)
  3. Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes or until slightly browned.

#2: Moister Version

  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick or similar mix
  • 1/2 package shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp oil

  1. Set oven to 325.
  2. Combine in bowl: everything but the oil.
  3. Shape into 1" balls and place on an oiled sheet pan
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly browned.
