Another simple and easy to make meal that will satisfy!
FOR FOUR
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 onion, cut in strips
- 1/2 red bell pepper, cut in strips
- 1/2 green bell pepper, cut in strips
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound beef cubed steaks
- 1 (14-1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes, no salt added
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook the peppers, onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper for 5 minutes.
- Remove to a plate and set aside.
- Add the cube steaks to the same skillet and cook 5 to 7 minutes, or until browned, turning once.
- Add the tomatoes to the skillet .
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until meat is tender
I would serve this with a side salad and maybe some mashed potatoes.
