(serves 4)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 garlic clove, smashed
- 1 tbsp chopped ginger
- 1/4 head of cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 cup finely shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce or aminos
- 1 thinly sliced scallion
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 lb ground pork
- Heat the oil
- add the garlic and ginger and cook for one minute
- Add the pork, breaking it up into small pieces until cooked through
- Push to the side and pour in the sesame oil
- Add the cabbage, onion, and carrots and saute slightly
- Move the meat over and combine
- Add soy sauce and cook until all is tender
- Divide four ways and top with scallions and sesame seeds.
