Chicken Bites
- 8 skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Sauce
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning (optional)
- Pat chicken dry with paper towel towels; cut into bite-size pieces (about 1 inch).
- Sprinkle chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and garlic granules.
- Lightly dredge chicken pieces into the cornstarch, leaving a thin dusting.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear chicken pieces until golden on all sides, 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken pieces and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet; sautée until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Stir in chicken broth, honey, and soy sauce. Let sauce bubble gently for 1 to 2 minutes, without boiling.
- Return chicken pieces to the pan, and stir to coat; cook until sauce is slightly thickened and clings to chicken pieces.
- Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
