How to make a very moist Turkey Breast

When I was growing up we had to have a whole turkey. I had three hungry brothers and they could probably have eaten the entire bird! And I also carried over the "big bird" for Thanksgiving with my own family, since there were seven of us. But today, there are only three of us and we all like white meat so I can just buy a breast.

  • 6-7 lb bone-in Turkey breast
  • 4 rosemary sprigs
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (can use Splenda for Baking)
  • Salt and Pepper

  1. Put the breast in a crock pot with the rosemary and garlic around it.
  2. Combine the sugar, salt, and pepper and sprinkle over
  3. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or to 265 degrees (stop at 235 degrees if doing the next step)
  4. If it doesn't brown up any, place on a small tray and put in a very hot oven (around 450) until skin brown
