Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

 This is a sweet but healthy muffin with enough chocolate to get any chocoholic over the hump! 

  • 1 large egg 
  •  ½ cup unsweetened applesauce 
  •  1 cup bananas, mashed  (about 2-½ medium bananas)
  •  2 Tbsp. honey 
  •  ½ cup coconut flour
  •  1-½ cups almond flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened  almond milk 
  •  ¼ tsp. vanilla extract 
  •  2 tsp. baking powder 
  •  3 Tbsp. dark chocolate chips

  1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place paper liners in muffin tin wells.
  2.  In large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until smooth.
  3.  Portion batter evenly into liners and bake for 20 minutes.
  4.  Let cool completely before serving
