Slow Cooker Short Ribs Recipe

  • 2 lb beef short ribs, boneless
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • vegetable oil, as needed
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste

  1. In a non-stick skillet, sear the ribs in hot oil for a minute on each side. 
  2. Set aside once done.
  3. In a bowl, mix the beef broth, ketchup, white sugar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and garlic. 
  4. Mix and make sure it is well-combined.
  5. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Place the seared ribs in the crockpot, then pour the sauce over the ribs.
  7. Cook on low for 6 hours.
  8. Serve this warm with potatoes and vegetables, done to your preference.

To serve:1 cup mashed potatoes, or any potatoes done to your preference, ½ cup vegetables, (grilled onions, zucchini, tomatoes, and green onions), done to your preference
1 rosemary sprig, for garnish.
