Pumpkin Doggy Biscuits

(makes 20 treats)

Everyone loves their pups and doggies love homemade goodies, too! These are safe for doggies and very good for them.

  • 2eggs
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (I omit for my dog)
  • 2 tablespoons dry (powdered) milk
  • 2 ⁄cups flour (oat flour is good in here)
  • water

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Blend eggs and pumpkin together; add salt, dry milk, and flour.
  3. Add water as needed to make the dough somewhat workable.
  4. The dough should be dry and stiff, don't be concerned with crumbs being left in the bowl  [You will need to mix this with your hands because it is too stiff for an electric mixer.]
  5. Roll to 1/2-inch thick.
  6. Cut into shapes.
  7. Place 1" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet
  8. Bake for 20 minutes on one side, then turn over and bake for another 20 minutes

I rolled mine out between sheets of parchment paper and cut them into cookies using a bone shaped cutter before baking.
