Everyone loves peanut butter (except for those allergic to peanuts). But peanut butter bars are well above the ho-hum and a welcome weekday treat.
- 1 cup salted butter, melted
- 2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup + 4 tbsp peanut butter (chunky or other)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 11oz bag of milk chocolate chips
- In a large bowl combine everything EXCEPT the chips and 4 tbsp of peanut butter.
- Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Line a 9x13 inch pan with wax paper and spread the mixture.
- Melt the chips in a bowl, stopping to stir as needed, at 50% power for 1-2 minutes at 30-second intervals.
- Once melted, stir in the 4 tbsp peanut butter and pour over the first layer, and spread around.
- Tap pan in the center to even out and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
