- 2 cups sifted confectioners sugar
- 1/2 stick melted butter
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- extracts as desired
- Combine sugar and butter in a medium bowl.
- Stir in 2 tbsp heavy cream.
- If desired, add extract.
- Beat until smooth and creamy and add more cream if needed.
- Drizzle over cooled cake.
NOTE: IF YOU want to elevate the flavors of any citrus you use, instead of 2 tbsp heavy cream use 1 tbsp heavy cream and 1 tbsp citrus juice of choice.
