serves 4
- 13 oz raw peeled shrimp
- 2 cups bean sprouts
- 1 cup snow peas, shredded
- 1/2 cup thin sliced water chestnuts
- 1/2 head shredded lettuce of choice
- 12 radishes, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seed, lightly toasted
Dressing
- 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup sunflower oil
- 1 tsp five spice powder
- 2 tbsp mirin
- Steam the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink, set aside to cool.
- Make the dressing
- Toss together the bean sprouts, snow peas, chestnuts, lettuce and radishes, place the shrimp and sesame seeds on top
- Drizzle dressing and serve
