This hearty dish serves four and is easy to make! I use fresh beans because, well, they taste better but frozen works well too! And yes, you can sub with ground turkey but I would stick to the beef for flavors' sake.
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups fresh or frozen green beans
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup beef broth (use lower sodium)
- Garlic powder, pepper, and paprika to taste
- Brown ground beef and drain excess grease.
- Add onion and green beans.
- Pour in beef broth and seasonings.
- Cover and simmer 10–12 minutes.
- Sprinkle cheese over the top and let melt.
