Air-Fryer Fried Chicken Tenders

8 tenders/4 servings

  • 1/3 cup almond flour  
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 
  • 1 teaspoon paprika 
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce 
  • 1 pound chicken tenders 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper 
  • Nonstick cooking spray 

  1. Heat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
  2.  Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. 
  3. Place almond flour, all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika into a shallow dish and stir to combine. 
  4. Place the egg and hot sauce into another shallow dish and whisk to combine.
  5. Place the chicken tenders on a plate and pat them dry. 
  6. Season both sides of each tender with the salt and pepper. 
  7. Dip one tender at a time in the egg mixture, then coat well in the flour mixture and place in the prepared air fryer basket. 
  8. Spray the tops with nonstick cooking spray. 
  9.  Place the basket in the air fryer and cook for 12 minutes, flipping the tenders halfway through cooking and spraying again with nonstick cooking spray.
