- 1 lb thick cut sirloin steaks
- 3 tbsp crushed colored peppercorns
- 1 1/2 tsp horseradish
- 4 cups mixed greens
- 1 thinly sliced red onion
- coarse salt flakes
- 3/4 cup plain regular yogurt
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 1/2 cups button mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tbsp EVOO
- Trim any extra fat and rub steak with the peppercorns and salt flakes.
- Mix the yogurt, horseradish, garlic and salt and pepper (if desired) for dressing.
- Add the greens and mushrooms and most of the red onion to a large bowl and toss with the dressing.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet until very hot and carmelize the steaks on one side for 2 minutes.
- Flip and cook another 2 minutes.
- Place greens in center of plate and serve beef on top and top with remaining red onion.
Note: This calls for 6 steaks totalling 1 lb. 148 calories per serving.
