Garlic Butter Baked Shrimp

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or Italian-style)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

  1.  Preheat the Oven
  2. Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3.  Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce
  4. In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  5.  Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  6. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  7. Pour the garlic butter sauce evenly over the shrimp.
  8. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and then breadcrumbs.
  9. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  10. Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end to brown the top slightly.
  11. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.

Serve hot with lemon wedges, crusty bread, or over pasta/rice.
