Cranberry and Almond Quinoa
- 2 c water
- 1 c quinoa
- 1 c dried cranberries
- 1/2 c slivered almonds
- 1/4 c salted sunflower seeds
- Rinse quinoa
- combine water and quinoa in pot
- close and secure the lid
- select MANUAL and cook at high pressure for 10 mins
- add seeds, almonds and cranberries and mix until well combined
- serve
Breakfast Quinoa
- 1.5 c quinoa rinsed
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- pinch salt
- (can add: sliced almonds, berries or apple)
- combine all ingredients except the optional choices in the pot and lock the lid
- select MANUAL and cook high for 1 min
- when the timer goes off use NATURAL RELEASE for 10 mins then move th pressure release to venting to release remaining steam
- unlock lid and fluff
- add in your extras
Quinoa and Sausage
- 1 tbsp evoo
- 1/2 lb sausage meat with casings removed
- 1 c chicken stock
- 1 sm onion chpd
- pinch turmeric
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 c quinoa
- 1 oz bella shrooms cut up
- 1/2 sm broccoli head
- 1 chopped red bell pepper
- preheat pot on saute
- add oil and stir well
- add stock quinoa shrooms and bell pepper
- close and secure lid
- select manual and cook high pressure for 1 mon
- once cooking is complete use NATURAL RELEASE for 10 mins
- release any remaining pressure
- open and fluff with fork
