There are many ways to stabilize frosting. Here are some of the tried-and-true.
Cream Cheese Stabilizing
- 2 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup cold heavy cream
- Whip the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and well combined
- Turn the mixer to low and stream in the heavy cream, slowly increasing the speed to whip into frosting.
