My family loves tomato soup. Especially on a cold day or a summer evening with a grilled cheese sandwich! But finding the lower-sodium version- especially one that is fresher and lighter than the one our mothers made- was very expensive if you bought it at the market already made. A quick look at the contents, though, showed that I could make my own without the added salt!
- 1- 28 oz can no salt added crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 14 oz can no salt added diced tomatoes
- 2 packets of stevia
Just heat and eat!
OR if you want it creamy- add in some half and half while it's cold, send it through a blender, and then heat.
